Meet Tia and Alice… these two very pretty Staffordshire Bull Terrier girls were here on a holiday… so a trip to explore the beach at Mornington was a must!
Tia is 3 years Old and quite the character… She was full of energy and provided the entertainment!
Alice is the Puppy, she was extremely Sweet… And not aloud to far from her Mum as you can see…
I love this photo, makes me want to go to the beach more!
I couldn’t resist including this photo!
Other than the cold weather, the beach was beautiful and as you can see the sun made an appearance for us. It was a great chance to get in some much needed practice on my new camera.

How cute is this little brindle Staffy Puppy! I had the pleasure of first meeting him and his sibblings when they were just a tiny 4 weeks old, click here to see the photos. This beautiful puppy now lives with his new mum and is completely spoilt and has the best name ’Fonz’… ! (and yes, he actually has a little pleather jacket!)

Today’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier photoshoot was at a Dog swimming pool in Rosebud (Victoria) called Doggy Paddle which is owned by the beautiful Miss Jacque.
Once the Life Jacket Harness was strapped on he was in the pool and swimming beautifully. (Except for a quick attempt to climb out the edge)
With some encouragment from Jacque, the lead was unclipped and he was swimming solo.
After the last few laps he was ready to be dried off and get a Scooby Snack!
The tropical surroundings and Heated Salt Water Pool is a beautiful place for your best friend to relax and unwind.

At the recent Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Victoria Open Show, I took along my camera for some much needed practice. There was so many wonderful people there happy to volunteer some little models for me….
First was this Handsome boy ‘Smudge’…
The always pretty ‘Elly’…
Then there was ‘Cooper’ taking refuge inbetween his dads legs, how sweet is this boy!
Then came ‘Twitch’ he was such a funny boy. He really didn’t want his photo taken and was giving me the funniest looks and insisted on looking anywhere but at the camera…

I recently went for a road trip to Kyneton, Victoria to visit Stafford Rescue (SBTCV Rescue Service). After joining the Committee a few months ago it was nice to see the setup there. I loved the sign at the entrace…
Upon arriving, there was a pretty girl named ‘Chubby’ being surrended, it’s a terrible moment and something that you need to actually witness just once to be able to understand. It is a harsh reminder of what the rescue co-ordinators have to see all too often. I took the below photo of this girl at a confusing moment as her owners were walking away and her Loyal heart was breaking…
The decision to welcome a new puppy into your home and family is not one to be taken lightly, it is a lifelong commitment. It seems the words ‘Surrender’ and ‘Re-home’ have been desensitized and are just words to some, but as you can see in Chubby’s eyes it’s a heart Breaking decision. One important thing to remember – don’t buy from Pet Stores! If you have thought long and hard and are ready Financially, Mentally, have living Stability and have decided to purchase a Puppy – Only buy from Registered Breeders or Animals Shelters.
The good news… Chubby has found her new ’Forever Home’.
